University of San Diego

The University of San Diego is a nationally ranked Roman Catholic institution with more than 800 faculty members and 9,100 undergraduate, graduate and law students. Its marketing and marketing management programs are found through the School of Business Administration.

The school offers a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, which focuses on research and analysis to better understand consumer behavior. Courses covered include statistics for business and economics, calculus, macroeconomics and managerial accounting. Marketing-specific classes include consumer behavior and marketing research. Students can select from several elective courses, such as advertising campaigns, global marketing and sports marketing.

A Master of Business Administration program with a concentration in marketing is also available. This program prepares students for career opportunities in advertising, public relations, multinational marketing and brand management. Courses include new product development, special topics in marketing, strategic marketing and digital marketing. Twelve units of electives must be completed.
