Students pursuing a bachelor's degree in human resources should confirm that their college or university is accredited by an official accrediting agency. Typically, students can expect to take 60 credits worth of general education requirements (math, reading, writing, etc.), core topics in team-building, employment law, economics, and management; as well as electives.

Although students may culminate their two-year associate human resources degree programs with an Associate of Arts (AA) degree, oftentimes, they will receive an Associate of Science (AS) or an Associate of Applied Science (AAS). Generally, students with associate degrees in human resources continue their education in a bachelor's degree program or seek entry-level employment in the field, such as a human resources assistant role.

Master's Degrees in Human Resources
