Answer:

According to the National Association of State Directors of Teacher Education and Certification, teachers with an Illinois teacher certificate will have their teaching certificate accepted by other state boards of education. However, each state may have differing requirements for out-of-state teachers satisfy before being granted a standard or professional teaching certificate. For instance, the Louisiana Department of Education will not require Louisiana PRAXIS scores for any out-of-state teacher who teaches in a Louisiana school for one year with an Out-Of-State teaching certificate as a prerequisite for a Level 1 teaching certificate.

Some states may have additional coursework requirements prior to granting a standard or professional teaching license. For instance, the Washington Office of Superintendant of Public Instruction requires the completion of an Issues of Abuse course to be completed prior to application submission in order to be eligible for the state's Professional Certificate.
