According to the NCES (National Center for Education Statistics), there are no community colleges in California that offer aeronautical engineering programs. The 13 schools in California that do offer programs in this subject are the California Institute of Technology, California State University (CSU)-Long Beach, Cal Poly Pomona, California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, the Naval Postgraduate School, San Jose State University, San Diego State University, Stanford University, the University of California (Davis, Los Angeles, Irvine, and San Diego campuses), and the University of Southern California.
The NCES also reports that no community colleges in the US offer aeronautical engineering programs but there are 90 colleges and universities that do, such as Arizona State University, Auburn University (in Alabama), Capitol Technological University (in Maryland), Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University-Daytona Beach (in Florida), the Georgia Institute of Technology, Iowa State University, Ohio State University, New Mexico State University, Rice University (in Texas), Syracuse University (in New York), Saint Louis University (in Missouri), Pennsylvania State University, the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, the University of Kansas, the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign, the University of Colorado Boulder, the University of Virginia, Utah State University, and the University of Oklahoma-Norman Campus.
