The Utah Valley University offers the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) scholarship for students and legal residents coming from the following states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington, Wyoming, the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands, and Guam. Additional requirements for students to be considered eligible for the scholarship include the following:

  • Cumulative GPA of 2.5
  • Earn 15 credit hours per semester
  • Must be enrolled in WUE eligible programs
  • Driver's License from their original state

Some of the non-eligible programs include Nursing, Global Aviation, International Studies, and Personal Interest. Accepted students in this scholarship are also required to maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 in their 15 credit hours per semester to continue the benefits of this scholarship. The grant includes 150% of the resident tuition fees, courses fees, and other student fees. Students may apply through the general application for scholarships of the Utah Valley University by choosing the WUE from the opportunities list.
