How do I get a Trained Teachers Certificate (TTC)?
Question:
How do I get a Trained Teachers Certificate (TTC)?
Perfect School Search
Answer:
While the traditional route to becoming a teacher may involve the completion of a four-year bachelor's degree, along with an additional teaching certification, it is possible to bypass this requirement in the case of a Trained Teachers Certificate (TTC), which is often used to teach English elsewhere in the world. This alternate route is generally a shorter process, often only taking a year or two in total. One option for TTC training is through the Principals' Training Center in Miami, Florida, which offers a full TTC program with a mix of in-person and online formats for course delivery. In order to graduate from that specific program, students are required to complete four of the five TTC courses on offer, upon which they will earn a Certificate of International Teaching. However, if students take all five of the TTC courses then they will be able to graduate with an Advanced Certificate of International Teaching instead, so it is really up to you what level is most appealing and useful for your future plans.
