Other B.S. majors also suffice, such as those centralized in mathematics, physics, or computer science. Because the hedge fund manager position is a competitive career option, it may be optimal to also obtain a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in addition to the Bachelor of Science. Courses such as tax principles, economics, or general business are also popular for many similar positions such as a macro analyst position. However, taking these courses and obtaining the degrees at top universities is the most important to land a career in hedge funding.
