There are many programs that offer scholarships which do not have a 3.5 GPA minimum. When looking for scholarships, it is important first to know yourself and what makes you unique. Scholarships are given to those of certain ethnic backgrounds or by your local state/town. Scholarships are also given for the area in which you plan to major in college or based on the kind of jobs you've had. Finally, many colleges also offer free ride programs to low-income students.
