Huntington University
Huntington University in Indiana had close to 1,047 undergraduate students in 2018, according to the NCES. The university is home to the Haupert Institute for Agricultural Studies that offers an agricultural education program and agribusiness program. The agribusiness program has a variety of concentrations available, including animal production, ministry and missions, agrimarketing, agrientrepreneurial small business management and crop production. The school's campus ministries provide students with mission opportunities, chapel services, small groups, Mid-Day Prayer and Ekklesia (student-led chapel) to help them grow in their faith.
Dordt College
Dordt College in Iowa offers an associate's in agriculture and a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in Agriculture with an emphasis in ag missions, agribusiness, animal science, plant science, pre-vet, biotechnology or agriculture education. Students in these programs participate in hands-on labs and research projects and have the opportunity to partake in off-campus programs in various countries and/or internship opportunities. The NCES reported that the college had around 1,424 undergraduates in 2018. Students on campus have access to online Bible studies through Right Now Media and can participate in chapel, service projects, small groups and student-led worship/fellowship activities (Wellspring and Growing in Faith Together).
College of the Ozarks
The College of the Ozarks in Missouri is an undergraduate institution that had close to 1,565 students in 2018, per the NCES. Students on campus have access to Christian counseling and can participate in small groups, weekly Bible studies (Artos) and Camp Koinonia, the all-school spiritual retreat. Students interested in studying agriculture can pursue a minor in several areas and/or a major in agronomy, horticulture, agribusiness, conservation and wildlife management, agriculture education, agriculture development or animal science. Emmanuel College
Emmanuel College in Georgia has a unique Diversified Agriculture Department that has a minor in agriculture or a Bachelor of Science in Diversified Agriculture with available concentrations in agricultural business, agricultural missions, agricultural communication or agricultural science. Students in the program learn about aquaponics, poultry management, greenhouse operations and more at the college's Diversified Agriculture Teaching and Learning Center. For their spiritual lives, students can attend chapel and small groups and/or participate in spiritual mentoring and spiritual organizations on campus, such as Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Actors for Christ in Theatre and Singing or Revive! Dance Ministry. This undergraduate college had 920 students in 2018, according to the NCES.
Warner University
Florida's Warner University had close to 910 undergraduate students in 2018, per the NCES. The university offers a Bachelor of Arts in Agricultural Studies that includes a variety of hands-on experiences through field trips, internships, capstone projects and mentorships. Students in the program are encouraged to add a minor in areas like pre-law, biology or business and gain practical experience with modern technology in agriculture. Spiritual life on campus consists of chapel services, prayer groups, Bible studies, a campus-wide Spiritual Life Week each semester and other spiritual opportunities provided by the Spiritual Life Committee of the Student Government Association.
