Program Description:

The MA in Healthcare Administration is intended to teach students about the healthcare industry from a business or administrative perspective. Students have the opportunity to learn about many factors that go into the organization, implementation, and delivery of healthcare. A few topics the curriculum could allow students to explore include economics, finance, leadership, quality improvement, health policy, risk management, law, ethics, and human resources. By the end of the program, students could be able to apply the healthcare concepts they've learned to real-world situations such as organizational decision-making, developing strategic goals, formulating ethical and lawful healthcare decisions, and being aware of diversity in healthcare.
