Program Description:

The Event Planning & Management career diploma at Penn Foster is designed to teach students about working as an event planner or coordinator as well as running an event planning business. The curriculum consists of 5 courses that cover how to plan all types of events, from birthday and anniversary parties to religious celebrations and silent auctions. Students will have the opportunity to learn all about the role of an event planner, all of the documents needed for events, how to contact and work with vendors, and how to start an event planning business. Towards the end of the program, students will have the opportunity to complete a project where they can demonstrate any skills gained.
