Program Prerequisites:

Students interested in applying to James Madison High School's High School Diploma program should have access to a computer with an Internet connection. Applicants should also be prepared to participate in self-paced classes and be at least 14 years old.

Program Description:

James Madison High School's High School Diploma program allows students to complete a full 9th through 12th grade curriculum. Students also have the option of transferring credits that they have already earned so that they can pick up their high school education where they left off. The program includes courses in English, math, science, social studies, business, and foreign languages. Students can design their own program by choosing electives that match their academic interests and career goals.

Students need 23 credits to earn their high school diploma. Many of these credits can be earned through transfer credits, but at least four credits must be earned through the James Madison High School's High School Diploma program curriculum.
