The general admissions guidelines set forth by Grand Canyon University state that applicants to graduate degree programs must hold a bachelor's degree and have at least two years of work experience. Applicants should also have an overall GPA of 2.8. Those prospective students who do not meet the minimum GPA requirement may be admitted on a probationary basis. The decision to admit applicants who do not meet the minimum GPA requirement is made on a case-by-case basis. Applicants who have an advanced degree and wish to apply to the Master of Science in Psychology with an Emphasis in Industrial and Organizational Psychology program may also do so.

Program Description:

Grand Canyon University's Master of Science in Psychology with an Emphasis in Industrial and Organizational Psychology program is designed to develop future practitioners, researchers, and teachers in the field of industrial and organizational psychology. The curriculum consists of nine courses and covers areas such as social and cultural psychology, organizational behavior, and graduate statistics. Students enrolled in the degree program are required to develop a research proposal in a capstone course.
