Program Description:

DeVry University's Bachelor's degree program in Technical Management with a specialization in Technical Communication examines the use of spreadsheet software to analyze business data, various computer applications used in business, and fundamental theories of management, project management, and human resource management. Students have the opportunity to take coursework in business policy development, business law, business systems analysis, marketing, corporate finance, and managerial, financial, and cost accounting. The program introduces students to technical design theory and design software, visual design, and Web design. Students can learn about document structure, engineering and software documentation, corporate communications, investor communications, and techniques for composing training and marketing materials and instructional manuals. Students have the option of coursework in proposal and grant writing, scientific and medical writing, or technology writing.
