Program Prerequisites:

Students interested in the program should have at least 12 transferable baccalaureate-level credits or the equivalent from an accredited college of university. They must also have a 2.0 cumulative GPA in all prior college work. They should also have a good mind for numbers and organization.

Program Description:

The Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies program at Brandman University is designed to give students a basic understanding of the law work environment and its requirements. Courses will cover topics in everything from the relationship between law and power to the workings of an average courtroom. Students will be asked to learn about the history of law as well as complete an independent studies portion in order to graduate. All courses will have to be completed with a C or higher to get the necessary credits in order to graduate and students will have to do a capstone course. By the end of the course, students may have had the opportunity to study a broad array of subjects that they may apply to future career options or legal certification tests.
