William Paterson University was originally founded in 1855 in the city of Paterson, NJ. Today, the university's campus is located on 370 wooded acres in Wayne, NJ, just 20 miles west of New York City.

Since its founding, the school has grown into a major educational institution with over 11,500 students and an alumni network of 62,000 individuals located throughout the world. William Paterson University offers over 250 degree programs through five colleges. Admissions
