'Going into UTI, I knew my skills were modest but UTI gave me the knowledge I needed to work at a dealership. I thought the instructors were good, engaging and helped me with the course work.'
Keaton Kramer, UTI Graduate
'I had taken metal and light auto classes in high school, and thought I had an understanding of cars but when I got to UTI I realized I actually didn't know much at all. The classes at UTI taught me the fundamentals. I really liked the instructors and appreciated that they were in the industry prior to teaching.'
Alex Locke, UTI Graduate
'What I liked most about UTI were the opportunities I had as well as the specialized manufacturer programs that were available to me. The hands-on program at UTI taught me the skills to become a technician in the real world because I was able to actually put what I was learning into practice.'
Jake de St.Hubert, UTI Graduate

About Universal Technical Institute
Universal Technical Institute (UTI) provides technical training programs for students seeking careers as automotive, diesel, collision repair, motorcycle and marine technicians. Its schools offer six entry-level technician training programs as well as manufacturer-specific training featuring more than 30 brands. More than 190,000 technicians have graduated from UTI during its 50 years in business. All UTI courses are taught by instructors with years of experience working in their area of expertise and all have a genuine interest in helping students succeed.
The auto, diesel and collision repair technician training programs are accredited by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF). Graduates are prepared to complete the ASE certification examinations and can apply the program toward one of the two years' work experience required to become ASE certified. The branded programs are based on the manufacturers' training programs and many are not available from any other school. UTI has worked with these partners to create well-equipped labs that include the latest vehicles, tools, equipment and training aids.
Accreditation Statement
Each UTI school is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). ACCSC is a recognized accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education.
