About United Education Institute
United Education Institute (UEI) and UEI College are private, for-profit educational institutions owned by International Education Corporation. There are 13 UEI College campuses located in California and one UEI campus in Morrow, Georgia. UEI College's main campus is just south of Los Angeles in Huntington Park, California.
Academics
The Huntington Park campus of UEI College offers four vocational diploma programs in business office administration, criminal justice, dental assisting and medical assisting. Students who wish to earn an Associate of Applied Science in Business Management must have a high school diploma or GED and must first complete a vocational program equivalent to 32 semester credits or more. The AAS program consists of seven business courses and seven general education courses.
Students can complete their programs through day, evening or weekend classes, and all classes are held on campus. UEI diploma programs are designed to take 32-34 weeks to complete. The associate's degree program takes an additional 28 weeks. Students who are not able to complete their program within 150% of normal program time are withdrawn from the school.
Admissions
To enroll in UEI College programs, students must be at least 17 years old and have a high school diploma or GED. Students who the school believes have an 'ability to benefit' may also be admitted under certain circumstances.

Tuition & Financial Aid
As of 2013, it cost a total of $18,300 in tuition and fees to complete a diploma program at UEI College - Huntington Park. Students who complete the AAS program pay a total of $30,000.
