About Syracuse University
Established in 2008, Syracuse University's iSchool was the first of its kind in the United States. The School of Information Studies (which houses the iSchool) and the Martin J. Whitman School of Management together offer an interdisciplinary Master of Science in Applied Data Science. Created by distinguished Syracuse University faculty, this curriculum is presented through collaborative, live classes that help students build data analytics skills that are in high-demand for the growing field of data science.
Students could expect to take courses in areas of data administration, data analysis, big data analytics, data warehousing, and scripting. There are also business application courses which address marketing, accounting, and financial analytics, as well as management science principles. This online program prepares students to join a network of diverse data science professionals. Students can earn this degree in as little as 18 months, and GRE scores are not needed for admission.
