Samford University

Founded as Howard College in 1841, the Christian-affiliated Samford University is now Alabama's largest private university. The not-for-profit institution has a student enrollment of more than 5,700 individuals, and a student-to-teacher ratio of 12-to-1. Students who attend Samford University can choose between 11 undergraduate degrees and 14 graduate and professional degrees.

Samford University's Brock School of Business offers a Master of Business Administration program that is available in evening and online formats. The MBA program has five concentration options, including one in international business. The international business concentration consists of 9 credits, which serve in place of the MBA's standard elective requirements. Students can take courses in international marketing, economics and management, as well as participate in a field study for topics in the concentration area.
