Through NYU's Tisch Center for Hospitality and Tourism, students can earn a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Tourism Management with an optional concentration in tourism development. Undergraduates learn about the accounting, marketing, and sales methods used in the tourism industry, and they must complete 600 hours of fieldwork. They also study destinations and cultures, entrepreneurship, and sports tourism. Graduate candidates can pursue a Master of Science in Tourism Management program, which includes topics in tourism policy analysis, sustainable tourism, and tourism planning.
Brigham Young University
Brigham Young University - Hawaii was ranked #14 among schools in the West by U.S. News and World Report for 2017. The school in Laie, Hawaii, offers a bachelor's program in hospitality and tourism management. Students can choose a hospitality management track or tourism management track.
