The University of North Carolina (UNC) at Charlotte has more than 30,000 students and more than 300 student organizations. UNC at Charlotte's Belk College of Business offers business administration programs that include HR courses at the bachelor's and master's degree levels.

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree program offers various concentrations. Those interested in a career in human resources may pursue the management concentration, which offers courses in human resource management as well as business policy and employment law. In the Master of Business Administration, students can pursue a concentration in management, which includes a human resource management course that analyzes the relationship between employers and employees. Additional related classes include executive communication, project management and conflict management. The entire MBA program requires 37 credit hours and can be completed in two years.
