San Diego State University

Since its founding in 1897, San Diego State University has produced more than 280,000 alumni. As of 2021, it's home to more than 36,400 students and offers nearly 200 degree programs. SDSU has a student-to-faculty ratio of 26 to 1.
The College of Business Administration offers bachelor's and master's degrees in business administration. The B.S.B.A. program requires students to complete pre-major core coursework in subjects like economics, statistics, business mathematics, financial accounting, information systems and communications. These lower-division courses are commonly completed alongside general education courses and must be taken before declaring a major within the B.S.B.A. curriculum. Students can choose to major in subjects like finance, management, marketing or information systems. The curriculum at the upper-division level is largely based on the selection of a major.
All full-time MBA students are required to complete core courses in subjects such as marketing, economics, statistical analysis, financial reporting and financial management. There are 9 areas of specialization that students can choose from, which accounts for up to 18 credit hours of study. A specialization is not required, and students can take up to 18 credits in electives. The completion of a capstone class or a thesis satisfies the program's culminating experience requirement.
The Executive MBA lasts for about 21 months, and it's a part-time option for students who work full-time, allowing 2 courses to be taken at a time. This program requires a total of 48 credits and has classes on Fridays and Saturdays.
