Telecommunications Training in Texas with Course Descriptions

Essential Information

Telecommunications training programs are available at the undergraduate and graduate levels through certificate and degree programs. Many of these programs focus on computer networking and prepare students to install, configure, maintain, manage, secure and repair wired and wireless computer networks, while others include the study of other types of communications, such as satellite and microwave communications. Programs are sometimes found in a broader area of study, such as electronics technology or computer information systems, and include a concentration in telecommunications or networking. Hands-on training with telecommunications equipment is usually provided.
