Master of Arts - Initial Teacher Preparation

Teachers College at Columbia University enrolls more than 4,500 students. Students take classes in their chosen field along with classes in the theory and practice of teaching. Students in this initial teacher preparation program can choose from a wide variety of fields. They may study early childhood education, physical education, art or reading, for example.
