Students learn the basics of information system analysis and design in this course. Techniques and tools used in analysis are studied. Students examine system functions in the business environment. Troubleshooting and problem identification are covered.
Object-Oriented Analysis Course
This course focuses on how to provide support for information systems. Students examine the implementation of support systems, testing and upgrades. Help desks and user training are also covered. Students examine potential problems that may occur when using information systems and methods for assisting others with troubleshooting.
Technical Writing Course
This course teaches students how to gather information and present it in technical reports. Students learn how to communicate specialized computer-related information in a clear and concise manner to others who many not be familiar with technical language and terminology. Students learn how to present oral and written technical reports, And they look at editing techniques as well.
