La Sierra University
La Sierra University had about 1,825 undergraduate students in 2018, according to the NCES. The NCES also reported a student-to-faculty ratio of 12 to 1 for the school, and U.S. News & World Report included the institution in its list of Best Regional Universities West for 2019. Students at the university can pursue a wide range of undergraduate and/or graduate degree programs in fields such as archaeology, biomathematics, exercise science, pre-health, marketing, counseling and English. The university encourages spiritual growth in its students through weekly chapel and worship services, Connection Groups (small groups), Bible studies and outreach and missions opportunities. Students may also choose to participate in student organizations on campus, like Environmental Club, Robotics Club, Business Club, Latinos United of Nations Abroad (LUNA) or Pre-Medical Society.
Loma Linda University
Loma Linda University is a unique health-based institution that offers over 100 degree and certificate programs, mostly in health-related fields (per the school's website), and has a student-to-faculty ratio of 3 to 1, per the NCES.
