San Bernardino Valley College (SBVC) is a 2-year public school that was established in 1926. The college enrolls more than 14,800 students annually and offers more than 70 degree and certificate programs through seven academic divisions. Available fields of study include the humanities, sciences, business, computer technology, physical education, culinary arts and social sciences. The school's pharmacy technology programs are part of the Science Division.
The Associate of Science in Pharmacy Technology program requires completion of 60 credit hours of general education and pharmacy technology-specific courses. If attended full time, it can be completed in two years. Students complete a minimum of 20 credits in pharmacy classes, such as pharmacy systems and calculations, anatomy, physiology and pharmacology.
