DePauw University
Founded in 1837, DePauw University has always been strongly linked to the Methodist tradition. Set on a 695-acre campus 45 minutes west of Indianapolis, this liberal arts college is affiliated with the Methodist Episcopal Church and is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. DePauw offers a wide range of programs in the humanities and sciences across 21 departments. The college also has a renowned music school on campus that is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music.
According to the school, current enrollment at DePauw totals 1,752, with a student-to-faculty ratio of 8 to 1 as of 2022. DePauw claimed a retention rate of 88% for 2020-2021, according to the NCES, which also reported that the graduation rate for students starting in Fall 2015 was 83%.
University of Evansville
The University of Evansville was established in 1854 and is affiliated with the United Methodist Church. University of Indianapolis
