Marketing support specialists perform tasks that are related to marketing and promoting products. Their specific duties may vary depending on the company they work for, but it's typical for them to be involved in producing written and visual content that will be presented on flyers or other printed materials. They may also be involved in producing website content or online promotional materials. Some marketing support specialists may also upload that content.

In some cases, marketing support specialists may be responsible for arranging for photographs to be taken or producing other visual materials that can be used for marketing purposes. They may distribute promotional materials via email or may be responsible for uploading materials to a Cloud or another type of storage system so that sales staff can access the materials. They are responsible for collaborating with other marketing professionals and sales staff and may be involved in shaping the brand message for the company or for specific products.
