Hudson Valley Community College
Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College is part of the State University of New York (SUNY) system and offers an associate's degree program in marketing through its School of Business. Students can pursue the degree on a part- or full-time basis.
Associate in Applied Science in Marketing
The Associate in Applied Science program in marketing provides students with general education and business skills needed for entry-level employment in marketing, management or small business operation positions. Students begin by taking core business courses in accounting, legal aspects of business, statistics and economics. Marketing foundation courses include marketing, advertising and communications. Hudson Valley Community College offers courses during day and evening hours and also has some available in an online format. Adirondack Community College

Associate in Applied Science in Management, Marketing and Entrepreneurship
This 64-credit program allows students to choose a concentration from three different areas: management, marketing or entrepreneurship. Marketing students must complete general business courses, including business communication, human resources and management. The marketing concentration includes courses in advertising and consumer behavior. The school recommends individuals interested in this program to have completed four years of mathematics study during high school. Graduates should be prepared to pursue positions in public relations, marketing and sales.
