Public Relations Manager

As a public relations manager, you would work for an organization or company and be responsible for overseeing and managing all efforts that have to do with the company's public image. This includes writing and approving press releases, making public statements, helping create or reinvent a company's public image, and designing advertising campaigns. Someone with a type I personality would do well in the role because it involves dealing with other people constantly, generating new and creative ideas, and collaboration. To become a public relations manager, you would need a bachelor's degree. Many professionals also have a master's degree.

Sales Manager

For any company or organization that has a product or service to sell, there are sales representatives and a sales manager to manage them all. The sales manager is responsible for overseeing aspects of sales strategy, setting sales goals, and helping everyone else see the big picture. They interact with employees and customers daily, so good customer service skills are very important. They also collaborate with coworkers and other managers to develop new sales techniques. For type I personalities, a career as a sales manager would tap into some of their natural communication skills and teamwork mentality. Sales managers usually have experience working as sales representatives, and most have bachelor's degrees.

News Reporter

News reporters work for major news networks and inform the public on major news events, both locally and internationally. Some may work on location in the field while others may host news programs from the news studio. They work in a team environment with other news anchors, producers, a camera crew, and lighting technicians. News reporters often interact with the public, conducting interviews and talking to eyewitnesses, so type I personalities will likely enjoy these tasks. Typically, news reporters have bachelor's degrees in journalism or communication.

Hair Stylist

Hair stylists work with men, women, and children by cutting and styling their hair. They have to be knowledgeable about different types of cuts and how to do color treatments. Many hair stylists develop close personal relationships with both their coworkers and their clients, so type I personalities may thrive in this environment. To become a hair stylist, you will need to complete a state-approved cosmetology program.

Fundraiser

Fundraisers typically work for organizations or on behalf of causes to raise money and awareness for the organization. They may be in charge of fundraising campaigns, planning special events, and meeting with potential donors. Someone with a type I personality would do well in this position, as it involves a high level of interpersonal interaction and the ability to win people over.
