Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering with a Concentration in Manufacturing
This degree program includes a concentration in manufacturing and it's accredited by the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET). Students will need to complete 128 credits in order to earn this degree. Areas of interest include calculus, economics, chemistry for engineers, industrial safety engineering, product design and computer simulation systems. A senior project will also be required in the final semester.
Master of Science in Industrial Engineering
This master's program offers a variety of specializations in areas like quality engineering, operations research, manufacturing engineering, health care systems and engineering management. In addition to a research project worth three credits, students will engage in coursework such as the design of experiments, ergonomics and occupational biomechanics, advanced production systems, robotics and statistical quality control.
Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial Engineering
The doctoral program in industrial engineering includes 36 credits of coursework paired with 12 credits of a dissertation. Students will also study a particular concentration area like ergonomics and human factors, operation research or statistics. General electives will provide discussion on topics such as advanced materials handling, software engineering and productivity in the public and non-profit sectors.
