The Associate of Applied Science - Database Specialist degree program requires students to complete 66 credit hours of courses that cover topics such as database management, Oracle database administration and operating systems. The database specialist diploma program consists of 53 credit hours and includes many of the same courses as the AAS program; however, students do not need to complete general education courses. The 24-credit database administrator certificate program can be completed in three semesters. The program requires six courses that cover topics in UNIX/Linux, Oracle and database management.
