University of Notre Dame
According to NCES, the University of Notre Dame had 8,617 undergraduate students in 2018, and the student body represents more than 100 countries. The school offers bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree programs in a variety of subjects, including architecture, theology, Chinese, aerospace engineering, finance, neuroscience and behavior, sociology and biology. The university is home to multiple faith-based departments and organizations designed to assist students in their spiritual development, including Campus Ministry, Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE), Center for Ethics and Culture and Institute for Church Life (ICL). Students can also participate in a variety of NCAA Division I sports, such as basketball, soccer, lacrosse, track and field, tennis and golf.
Hanover College
Hanover College is an undergraduate institution that offers bachelor's degree programs in art and design, Spanish, music, engineering, geology, physics, history, theological studies, international studies, anthropology, pre-law and more. The school was Indiana's first private institution and had 1,104 undergraduate students in 2018, according to NCES. Students can participate in a wide range of organizations and clubs, including honor societies, foreign language clubs, recreational clubs, academic clubs, service organizations and Greek Life. There are also several spiritual organizations to encourage students' spiritual growth, such as Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU), Delight Ministries, Interfaith Student Association, Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and Hanover College Ministries.
Anderson University
According to the school website in 2019, Anderson University has 1,567 students with 1,311 undergraduates. Students can get involved in more than 130 activities/organizations, including intramurals, interest clubs and events like Disco or Late Night Volleyball. For their spiritual development, students can attend chapel, floor focus groups or participate in mentorship with staff or faculty members. The school offers master's and doctoral degree programs in areas like theology, business and music education, as well as over 50 bachelor's degree programs, including programs in dance, Christian ministries, engineering, graphic design, exercise science, nursing, math, social work and pre-seminary.
Manchester University
Manchester University offers the Religious Life program to help students grow spiritually through chapel services, denominational groups, Bible studies, spiritual retreats, service projects, FCA and other opportunities. Students can pursue associate's, bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree programs in a wide range of subjects, including digital media, international studies, pharmacy, pre-dentistry, religious studies, German, pre-physical therapy and software engineering. According to NCES in 2018, this school had 1,525 students enrolled, including all levels. The school also offers 21 NCAA Division III sports, such as swimming and diving, indoor and outdoor track and field, soccer and tennis.
Franklin College
Franklin College has more than 1,000 students and a student-to-faculty ratio of 11 to 1, according to the school's homepage in 2019. The school offers a master's degree in athletic training and one in physician assistant studies, but has a variety of bachelor's degree programs in areas like creative writing, art history, public relations, chemistry, biology, French, math and education. For their spiritual development students can attend and/or participate in chapel services with communion, Spirituality Sundays, Dinner and Faith, Praise Team and Religious Life Garden. Students can also participate in a wide range of student organizations, from service groups like Best Buddies and College Mentors for Kids, to Greek Life or student interest groups like FCA and Environmental Activists Restoring the Habitats.
