Where do detectives work?
Question:
Where do detectives work?
Perfect School Search
Answer:
Detectives work mostly out in the field investigating and attempting to solve crimes. These investigations begin at the scene where something criminal has obviously or assumedly taken place. They analyze and observe the evidence collected from areas surrounding the scene. A great deal of what a detective does is interview potential witnesses and possible suspects. These interviews can take place either at a witness or suspect's home or place of work, or they can be conducted at a police station. Through these interviews, detectives obtain a clearer picture of what occurred. From there, a detective will secure a warrant to search any locations they deem necessary to solve the crime or to arrest a suspect they believe is responsible. Throughout all of this, a detective fills out and files paperwork at their respective police station. However, a private detective can work from their own personal office, though the job itself is not much different.
