Perfect School Search
Answer:
Accelerated bachelor's degrees (called "advanced placement" by ARRT) can be completed in a shorter time frame than regular bachelor's degree programs if you meet required criteria. To be accepted to an accelerated program, you should have either completed a minimum of 60 college credit hours or have completed an associates degree.
Be aware that accelerated or ''__advanced placement bachelors' applications will no longer be accepted by ARRT after 12/31/2021__''. According to ARRT, they have concluded they are unable to ensure advanced placement candidates are in full compliance with their requirements.
Two things are important when searching for accelerated bachelor's degrees:
- 1 Make sure the program is accredited. This will be important when you want to get certified or licensed. The best way to do this is to visit the website for ARRT recognized educational programs.
- 2 Use the checkbox "Advanced Placement" on the search page to identify programs that offer this option.
