There are four universities in Connecticut where you can study Medical Technology. Medical Technology is also known as Medical Laboratory Sciences or Clinical Laboratory Sciences and is a branch of Laboratory Medicine. In this field, blood is studied because it contains very valuable information as it pertains to diseases and how cures and treatments are created for each person. This is also true for other specimens that are found in the human body.

There are four postsecondary schools in Connecticut that offer the Medical Technology program. There are as follows:

University of Bridgeport - Bridgeport, Connecticut. They offer a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science.

University of Connecticut - Storrs, Connecticut. They offer a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science.

University of Hartford - West Hartford, Connecticut. They offer a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science

Western Connecticut State University - Danbury, Connecticut. They offer a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology.
