The priority deadline for applications to the Texas Christian University Honors College is November 15 for incoming first-year students. The second application deadline is February 1. The Honors College application can be accessed through the student's my.TCU admissions portal and includes two required 500 word essays. Invitations to the Honors College are sent on April 15.
Current TCU students also have the option to apply to the Honors College. Applicants in this category must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours of coursework and must have at least a 3.5 GPA. The application for current students opens on or around February 4 and closes on or around March 4. Decisions are sent to students who meet the application requirements on April 4.
Transfer students to TCU may also apply to the Honors College but must have at least 12 credit hours completed from TCU, along with a TCU GPA of 3.5 or higher. The deadline for transfer student applications is also March 4.
All accepted current and transfer students must make a decision to enroll in the Honors College by May 20.
