The application deadline for first year students applying to North Dakota State University (NDSU) for the fall term is August 1, and December 1 for the spring term. Applicants generally receive a decision by mail within two to three weeks after receiving all documents required in the application process. In addition to the college application, applicants must submit their unofficial or official high school transcripts. The transcripts should include the applicants cumulative high school GPA, and proof of completed prerequisite coursework in the areas of English, mathematics, social science, lab-based science, and a foreign language. If applicants received their GED instead of a high school diploma, they must submit official GED scores from the exam site where they took the exam. They must earn a score of 170 or higher to be considered for admission.
North Dakota State University does not require applicants to submit ACT/SAT scores, but it's highly recommended for appropriate freshmen course placement and in the admission decision-making process.
