To be considered a full-time student at Trident University, undergraduate students must enroll in at least three classes taken within 16 weeks (or two sessions). Graduate students, on the other hand, must enroll in at least one course taken within one session. According to Trident, they are not the typical online university students usually encounter.
Deadlines for requirements are set every two weeks, hence, time flexibility is given to students to accomplish all of their required coursework. Note that students who enroll at Trident include military personnel and full-time employees who want to find balance in their work and studies. To ensure that students are ready to take on the pressure of online education, students who get accepted into the university are required to take the Distance Education Readiness Assessment. Moreover, undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate degree students of Trident must expect between 4 to 6 modules for each of their courses, depending on their degree level.
