A library Science Certificate is a certificate that proves the eligibility of an individual to be a librarian. Librarians are charged with gathering reliable quality sources for their library databases. The librarian has to assess the needs of their community and be able to work with the systems and technology within their library, work with library patrons and the community, and be well versed in what the library has to offer. Librarians also need to be able to understand how to design information placement within the library to best profit the library community, as well as design and determine any classes and training seminars the library might host.
