For admission into the Universal Technical Institute, there is no minimum grade point average. The admission requirements are going to differ according to which program that you are applying to at the Universal Technical Institute. There are several programs that you can apply to that include automotive, collision repair, diesel, marine, motorcycle, Nascar, welding, and CNC machining. The Universal Technical Institute has twelve trade school campuses. In addition to these twelve trade school campuses, students can also earn credentials and recognition from manufacturers and professional organizations while in these programs at the Universal Technical Institute. The Universal Technical Institute does not require that you submit ACT scores or SAT scores for admission to the school. It is highly recommended that you include at least one letter of recommendation with your application for admission to the Universal Technical Institute. This letter of recommendation should come from a guidance counselor or a teacher.
