Answer:

Florida Bright Futures Program is designed to provide eligible awardees with up to 100% of tuition and fees for a degree program at a Florida public university or college. This will be paid out in a per-credit-hour award. For the 2021-2022 school year, the Florida Academic Scholar (FAS) award is $212.71 per credit hour, and the Florida Medallion Scholar (FMS) award is $159.53 per credit hour. For eligible students enrolled in a non-public accredited college or university based in Florida, FAS awardees will receive $211 per credit hour and FMS awardees are eligible for $140 per credit hour. Eligible awardees enrolled in an accredited, Florida-based vocational program may also receive financial aid awards through the Gold Seal Vocational Scholars (GSV) & Gold Seal CAPE Scholars (GSC) programs.

Bright Futures does not cover expenses related to room and board, transportation, housing, or study abroad fees. If you have questions about your award or eligibility, please reach out to your school's financial aid office.
