Answer:
Classes that you will need to take in order to become a licensed child psychologist include child development, adolescent development, introduction to psychology, social psychology, and general education courses, such as english and history. In order to become a child psychologist you will need a master's degree. Examples of master's degrees you can earn in order to become a child psychologist include a master of child development or clinical psychology. If you wish to be a more competitive candidate, it is recommended that you obtain a doctorate, either a Ph.D. or a Psy.D., this will also allow you to advance in your career. Each state, and some employers, have different licensing requirements. Many states require a doctoral degree from a college accredited by the American Psychology Association. All states require a passing EPPP test in order to qualify for licensure and a license from their state licensing board.
