What can I do with an early childhood education certificate?
Question:
What can I do with an early childhood education certificate?
Perfect School Search
Answer:
With your early childhood education certificate you have several options. While most of the options include working with young children, there are some opportunities that allow you to expand the age range you work with. The most common career path is working as a teacher in a preschool setting. Another option is to work in a school as a teacher's assistant, or teacher's aide in a public or private school setting. If working in a school is not in your plan, you can also work as a caretaker in a child care facility, or even a personal care aide for different ages. Another option is tutoring or nannying for a family. Many families look for nannies or tutors for their young children as well as older children who require more assistance outside of school.
