Answer:
Medical assistants also known as clinical assistants, are health professionals who support the work of physicians and other health professionals, typically in clinical settings. To become a medical assistant individuals must obtain valid certification through an accredited program. Medical assistants perform various routine tasks and procedures in many different medical settings such as hospitals and clinics. Medical assistants provide patients with support with daily tasks, taking their vitals and ensuring that patient records are completed, maintained and organized. The biggest challenge many medical assistants face is the time constraints and mental stress. Medical assistants are constantly on their feet and on the go. In addition to ensuring they are supporting doctors, nurses and patients, medical assistants face the challenge of ensuring all patient records are completed and properly maintained. Any disruption with patient medical files can negatively affect a physician's ability to successfully help the patient.
