Is September too late to apply for dental school?

Perfect School Search

Answer:

It is not too late to apply for dental school in September, but the earlier, the better. The application period always opens up from June and runs to February. Whereas you have a very extensive period to make the application, it is always best for you to apply as soon as it opens up to allow for an early review of your application. Most of the individuals send their applications from June and July. On the other end, most dental schools tend to start reviewing the applications from August and Septemeber. Individuals accepted into the program mostly begin by December. If you delay your application, you risk missing out on an opportunity to get into dental school. For example, if the largest number of applicants submit their applications in June and July, each of the dental schools will reach their optimum number of students early, and this implies that there will be little or no chances left by September. As such, you will be pushed to a later date in the following year.
