A student having an interest in chemistry can choose chemical engineering. In the same way, students with a passion for automobiles can study mechanical engineering.

Many universities offer new specializations like environmental engineering, communicational engineering, and management engineering. Environmental engineering deals with the study of environmental science from an engineering perspective. Biomedical engineering is one of the fast-growing engineering programs. Biomedical students study the processes of identification, designing, research, and analysis of genetic matters.
