A caterer is responsible for arranging the preparation, delivery, and presentation of food for clients. Caterers are used for various events such as weddings, birthday parties etc. When an individual is deciding which career is best for them it is imperative to to find a position within a company, business, and/or industry that sparks interest. In terms of what is a good career we look at aspects such as salary job duties/responsibilities and opportunities for further professional success. The average annual salary for a caterer is between $20,000 - $50,000. Salary depends on the individuals education. professional experience and progression within the field. If you are interested in planning events and enjoy helping other and meeting their needs, a career as a caterer may be right for you. A career as a caterer can provide steady income and opportunities for professional development and/or growth.
